Who doesn’t love ice cream? Come on! I think it’s seriously safe to say we all have a drooling passion for some double fudge chocolate, french vanilla or other flavored ice cream. Okay, maybe I’m just speaking for myself…hehe. Well this isn’t an ice cream recipe LOL well sort of…it has ice cream in it. Anyways, before I keep rambling off-topic lets get back to what this post is really about…
My fiance is obsessed with strawberry banana shakes. Of course he enjoys the full-on dairy versions BUT as you all know by now, I only make dairy and gluten free recipes. SO, this one leaves out the yucky stuff (like cow’s milk) and keeps the yummy stuff (like coconut milk)!
The good news for me is that it’s ‘my fiance approved’ which is a big plus because I have been trying to ween him off dairy. #Muahaha
Dairy-Free Banana Shake
Serves 1-2 people
Dairy-Free // Gluten-Free // Vegan-Friendly

- 1 fresh banana
- 1 frozen banana
- 2 tbsp flaxseed meal
- 3/4 cup sweetened coconut milk
- 2 scoops vanilla ice cream (I used So Delicious Very Vanilla Cashew Milk ice cream)
- Blend all ingredients until smooth.
- Optional: Sprinkle with cinnamon.
