Detoxifying Hot Lemon Water

As you all know I’m a firm believer in morning detoxification with lemon water. Whether hot or cold, this drink really does wonders for not just your body but your skin too! Especially if you’re like me and enjoy your little cafecito every morning! ๐Ÿ™‚

I have been drinking this little lemony ‘not so secret’ concoction for years now and although there are some days I do fall off, I get right back on – I feel the difference.

Yes, I have madย love for lemon water. What can I say!?

As soon as you wake up you should:

  1. Warm an 8 oz. cup of water (I heat mineย in the microwave for 2 minutes)
  2. Squeeze half a lemon in your warm water
  3. Sip away!

You will feel it instantly hydrate the body!

And you will notice aย difference throughout the day!

As you sleep at night the body naturally dehydrates. So drinking a cup or hot lemon water will jump start your metabolism and flush the body with vitamin rich nutrients. Not to mention that lemons are a highly alkaline food, and multiple studies have found that the big C word cannot thrive in an alkaline environment!
