No, I am not using the word ‘magical’ loosely either. I have been getting regular facials + treatments now for about a year. The effects it has had on my skin since I started are beyond words. My skin in general is healthy and youthful but I do tend to get a lot of clogged pores so making sure to exfoliate is incredibly important for me. I also have very sensitive skin so I’m always worried about what I put on, or get done to my face so as to not further irritate my skin. I’ve tried and tested several treatments thus far but I have to admit I absolutely LOVE these 3 the best:
1. Microdermabrasion: This treatment basically uses fine micro crystals that are sprayed directly onto the skin, removing the top laying of dead skin cells and all that other gunk. Then it’s sucked away! (I like to combine this with my #3 fav 😊). It improves wrinkles and skin texture, minimizes pores and reduces age spots leaving your skin more supple and vibrant. It will also allow your skin to better absorb your serum and moisturizer!
2. Red LED Light Therapy: This treatment gives your skin a healthy glow and smooths overall skin tone, builds collagen, reduces wrinkles, including crow’s feet, under eye wrinkles, forehead wrinkles & laugh lines. Speeds the healing of blemishes, like acne and rosacea, repairs sun damage, reduces redness, flushing, and broken capillaries. It also fades scars and stretch marks and brings more moisture to your skin!
3. Oxygen Therapy: This treatment is applied to the skin via a mist (or spray). Its usually carried out with a small pen like device called an airbrush. When placed on the face, the airbrush blasts pure oxygen, also known as hyperbaric oxygen, at high pressure into the epidermis – the uppermost layer of the skin. 👍 The results are visible immediately, the reduction of lines and wrinkles as well as enhancing the skin’s elasticity and firmness.
